Edward Draucker

Senior Chief Petty Officer Edward A. Draucker, U.S. Navy, retired, died April 14, 2003, of leukemia at the Veteran’s Administration Puget Sound Health Care System facility in Seattle. He was born Sept. 7, 1946, in Elmira, N.Y. He retired from active duty in 1992; the last 17 years of his career he was stationed at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Draucker of Everett; his mother, Helen Bailey; his sisters, Alice Smith and Sally Jordan; his brothers Fred Bailey, Edgar Bailey, Duane Bailey and Charles Bailey. Many nephews and nieces also survive.

Public visitation will be held at Purdy and Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, 1702 Pacific Ave., Everett, Tuesday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Services will be held at the same location Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at noon with burial following at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Cancer Care Unit, 1660 S. Columbian Way, Seattle WA 98108-1597.
