Olive Kilcup

Olive Kilcup, 93, longtime Oak Harbor resident, died April 13, 2003 at Whidbey Island Manor.

Mrs. Kilcup was born in Bankhead, Alberta, Canada, June 20, 1909, to Rex and Alice (Foreman) Butterfield. She married Laurel Kilcup in 1954, and they moved to Oak Harbor that same year. Olive enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting and cooking.

Olive leaves four sons, David Veach and wife Norma and Charlie Veach, all of Sicamouse, B.C., Andrew Veach of North Kamloops, B.C. and Tom Veach and wife Marge of Silver Lake; two daughters, Grace Berger and husband Gordon Hunsley of Scotch Creek, B.C. and Viva Johnson and husband Harold of Oak Harbor; one sister, Dora George of Prince George, B.C.; also, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.

A graveside service will be Thursday, April 17, at 2 p.m. at Lynden Cemetery. Arrangements by Burley Funeral Chapel.
