Jerri Ann Sieffert

Jerri Ann Sieffert, 61, died at Harborview Medical Center on Aug. 28, 2002. She was born Aug. 26, 1941 in Olympia to Jasper and Grace Ames. Jerri moved to Oak Harbor 25 years ago. She married Larry D. Sieffert Feb. 7, 1982.

Mrs. Sieffert loved the outdoors, particularly walking on beaches and collecting jade. She was a member of Lighthouse Christian Center in Oak Harbor and was a prayer warrior in that church. She is survived by her husband, Larry D. Sieffert of Oak Harbor; six children, Rod Ashlock, Linda Buben of Shelton, Daniel Mack of Oak Harbor, Ed Goodman of Oak Harbor, Michele Goodman of Oak Harbor and Tovi Sieffert of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Adam, Ashley, Sarah, and Clarissa; and one great-grandchild, Riann. She is also survived by three sisters, Arlene O’Leary of Westport, Linda Littell of Olympia, and Dayna Blankenship of Oak Harbor; and one brother, Rod Ames of Olympia.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Maple Leaf Cemetery Thursday, Sept. 5, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Mark Cargill of the Lighthouse Christian Center officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Whidbey General Hospital Emergency Services or to Lighthouse Christian Center.
