Wildcats trim T-wolves / Tennis

Oak Harbor High School tennis coach Malia Turner juggled her lineup for a non-league match with 4A Jackson and received a positive result – a 4-3 win over the visiting Timberwolves.

Comeback wins by MJ Timm and Olivia Lerch in first and third singles proved to be the difference for Oak Harbor.

The Wildcats lifted their season record to 7-6 and handed Jackson only its fourth loss in 13 matches.

Oak Harbor closes out the regular season with another non-conference contest, traveling to Kamiak at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 3.

The Wesco North Divisional Tournament is May 7 and 8 at Snohomish High School.
