The Oak Harbor High School boys golf team placed eighth out of 24 teams at the Suncadia Invitational at the Rope Rider Golf Course in Roslyn Tuesday, May 2.

Mount Si won the event with a score of 313; Oak Harbor posted a 356.

Oak Harbor’s Nick Krantz fired an 86 to finish 21st among 100 golfers. Nick Whitley and Nate Thompson were right behind Krantz with 87 and 88, respectively. Haven Brown finished with a 95.

Selah’s Dylan Apodaca shot a 68 to take medalist honors.

Oak Harbor competes in the Wesco North divisional tournament at 1 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Arlington’s Gleneagle Golf Course.
