The Oak Harbor High School boys golf team placed fifth out of seven teams at this week’s Wesco North meet Wednesday, April 24, at the Snohomish Golf Club.

Everett won the meet with 146 strokes. Oak Harbor finished with 167.

Oak Harbor’s Nick Krantz finished third in the individual standings with a one-over 37, three strokes behind medalist Andrew Olson of Everett.

The other Wildcat golfers were bunched together: Nate Thompson, 43; Cole Valdez, 43; Haven Brown, 44; Aidan Wyer, 45; and Wyatt Bright, 47.

Oak Harbor plays Stanwood at Camaloch Golf Course at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, then completes the Wesco season at Everett’s Legion Golf Course at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30.
