A couple of close wins in doubles helped the Oak Harbor High School tennis team complete a 7-0 sweep of visiting Everett Monday, Sept. 24.

The second-straight conference win upped Oak Harbor’s league record to 2-2 (4-3 overall).

The Wildcats host Marysville Getchell (0-4, 2-5) at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Singles: 1, Nick Krantz won 6-2, 6-3; 2, Nathaniel Thompson won 6-4, 6-0; 3, Micah Franklin won 6-2, 6-1; 4, Ezra Franklin won 6-2, 6-0.

Doubles: 1, Elsian Atienza/Ridgely Briddell won 7-6(7-3), 7-6(7-5); 2, Nathan Merrill/Samuel Peek won 7-5, 6-4; 3, Ethan Snell/Yuji Caballero won 7-5, 6-0.
