Wildcats’ playoff hopes die with loss / Baseball

The combination of Everett’s 3-1 win over Shorecrest Friday, April 28, and Oak Harbor’s 7-1 loss at Lynnwood eliminated the Wildcats’ from the high school baseball postseason.

The game was the season finale for Oak Harbor, which finished with a 4-14 league record and 4-16 overall.

Deuces were wild for the Royals (6-9, 9-9) who scored two runs in three consecutive innings (the third through the fifth) to pull away from the Wildcats.

James Besaw and Dylan Bailey led the Oak Harbor offense while Steven Richards suffered the pitching loss.
