All three Oak Harbor High School golfers who qualified for the 3A District 1 boys golf tournament made the cut after round one at Everett’s Walter Hall Golf Course Monday, May 15.

Nick Krantz, Nick Whitley and Haven Brown finished among the top 35 out of 63 and will play in the second and final round at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Walter Hall.

The top 18 at district earn berths in the state tournament Tuesday and Wednesday, May 23 and 24, at the Columbia Point Golf Course in Richland.

Krantz shot a five-over 77 and sits in ninth place, and Whitley is 23rd with an 84.

Brown escaped being cut by one stroke, carding an 87, good for 33rd.

Everett’s Josef Koznek and Arlington’s Connor Stephens lead the field with 73s.

Teams with five or more qualifiers were eligible for the team title, which Everett won a score of 402.
