Wildcats finish spring ball with scrimmage / Football

The Oak Harbor High School football team closed out spring camp with a scrimmage against Sedro-Woolley Tuesday, June 19.

The Cubs are coached by former Wildcat head coach Dave Ward.

Varsity, junior varsity and freshman players participated in the scrimmage. The teams took turns on offense, running about a dozen plays before switching sides.

Oak Harbor heads to team camp in Wenatchee next month, then begins practice for the fall season Wednesday, Aug. 15.

The first game includes a trip to Delta, B.C., to face Seaquam Secondary School Friday, Aug. 31.

The following week Oak Harbor holds its home and conference opener when Marysville-Pilchuck visits at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7.
