University Prep shut out the Coupeville High School tennis team 5-0 Thursday, Oct. 3, in Coupeville.

The Pumas raised their record to 7-1 with the win, a half game behind Emerald City League leaders Seattle Academy (8-1).

Coupeville fell to 1-8.

The Wolves host Bush (1-6) at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.

Coupeville beat the Blazers 3-2 in their first meeting this season Sept. 18.
