Steckman guides Renaissance to 1st place / Sailing

Skipper Dave Steckman raced Renaissance to the best time in the Oak Harbor Yacht Club’s Sailing Series Thursday, Aug. 9.

In the Windseeker division, Allen Wilson on Toto finished first ahead of Jason Polly aboard Lemonade.

Following Steckman in the PHRF division were Jim McAlpine (Lucky Jim), Chad Holcomb (Yeah Dogg), Thomas Buys (Vertigo) and Rex Dupuis (Gadzooks).

Buys, 14, raced Vertigo in place of his father Shannon, who worked with the race committee Thursday.
