Seagulls fly by ‘Cats / Tennis

A sweep of the doubles matches carried Everett to a 6-1 win over visiting Oak Harbor Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Clark Park.

The Wildcats scored their point in third singles with Ryan Mene’s 6-2, 6-3 win.

Marysville-Pilchuck (0-3, 2-5) visits Oak Harbor (1-4, 2-6) at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21.

Singles: 1, Nathanael Thompson lost 6-3, 6-4; 2, John Bird lost 6-0, 6-1; 3, Claude Thrailkill lost 6-3, 6-4; 4, Ryan Mene won 6-2, 6-3.

Doubles: 1, Trenton Cone/Jhaylan Munger lost 6-0, 6-0; 2, Mason Rhodes/Nick Krantz lost 6-3, 6-2; 3, Sam Peek/Matthew Kolden lost 6-2, 6-1.
