Parents host Catching Casper run

Complement your halloween costume with a pair of running shoes and take part in the Catching Casper 5K Fun Run/Walk at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Coupeville Elementary School.

Participants are encouraged to dress up for the event. When finished, runners and walkers are invited to head over to the “trunk or treat” to fill up their goody bags and buckets.

A prize will be awarded the top male and female finishers.

The cost is $20 for an individual or $40 for a family of four.

Register at or the day of the event, for $5 more, from 8:30-9:45 a.m.

The event is sponsored by the Parents of Coupeville High School, and the proceeds will go toward graduation night activities for the class of 2018.
