Pair roll perfect games / Bowling

James Ehlert and Ross Ramsdell each rolled perfect games at the fourth annual Whidbey Island United States Bowling Congress Tournament March 2 and 3 at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island’s Convergence Zone.

Ehlert also bowled two 775-plus series, as he and Ramsdell combined to shoot five games over 250.

Five other bowlers broke the 250 mark, led by WIUSBC Association Manager Larry Bezold with a personal-best 277.

The top five finishers in the singles tournament were Ramsdell, Erik Sadler, Elton Gifford, Kazuko White and Lorri Martin.

The leaders in doubles were James Ehlert/Evan Ehlert, Bezold/Sue Sapp, Ramsdell/Evan Ehlert, Tony Dahmes/Chris Renaud and Eric Arnold/Cristie Arnold.
