Oak Harbor takes 4th in Wesco North match / Boys golf

The Oak Harbor High School boys golf team finished in the middle of the pack at the seven-team Wesco North match at the Snohomish Golf Course Wednesday, April 11.

The Wildcats placed fourth with a score of 441.

Everett won the meet with a 388, Arlington shot 409 and Snohomish nabbed third with a 427.

Marysville-Pilchuck was 15 strokes behind Oak Harbor, and Stanwood and Marysville Getchell didn’t qualify for a team score.

The Wildcats’ Haven Brown tied for 10th in the individual standings with an eight-over 80. Nick Krantz shot 82, Nate Thompson 83, Nick Whitley 92, Billy Titzkowski 104 and Wyatt Bright 115.

Everett’s Austin Duffy carded a 72 to earn medalist honors.

Oak Harbor hosts the next Wesco North match at 3 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the Whidbey Golf Club.
