Shorecrest edged the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team for third place at the first annual BQ Invitational hosted by Glacier Peak Wednesday, May 2.

The Grizzlies won the match with 413 strokes. Arlington was close behind at 419; Shorecrest shot 467, two shots better than Oak Harbor.

Beth Paul paced Oak Harbor with a 110, good for eighth place. Jessica Aguilar carded a 113, Natasha Decker 120, Makenna Ronning 126 and Hannah Rogers 128.

Arlington’s Mialinh Vu led the field with an 83.

The Wildcats finish the regular season with a 3 p.m. match with Stanwood Thursday, May 3, at the Whidbey Golf Club.
