Oak Harbor swamps Archbishop Murphy / Swim and dive

After dropping its first four matches, the Oak Harbor High School swim and dive team has now won three in a row after defeating Archbishop Murphy 90-77 Thursday, Jan. 17, in Mill Creek.

Micah Franklin paced the Wildcats by winning two individual events and a relay. Franklin captured the 200 individual medley (2:20.8); 100 butterfly (1:03.69); and 200 freestyle relay with Riley Pickett, Ignacio San Martin Campos and Rylan Quiros.

Quiros added a win in the 50 freestyle (25.34), while Aaron Martinez took the 100 free (58.88).

Oak Harbor (3-4) hosts Lake Stevens (8-1) and Monroe (4-6) at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at John Vanderzicht Memorial Pool.
