The Oak Harbor High School volleyball team remained in a tie for first place in the Western Conference with a 3-1 win at Lynnwood Tuesday, Sept. 24.
The Wildcats (4-0) and Arlington (4-0) sit atop the Wesco standings, a half match up on Snohomish (3-0).
Oak Harbor will try to hold onto first when it entertains Edmonds-Woodway (1-2, 2-2) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
After splitting the first two games with Lynnwood by the same score, 25-20 (the Wildcats won the first set), Oak Harbor rolled to 25-14, 25-16 wins to wrap up the match.
The Wildcats produced a balanced attack at the net. Payton Parks registered 12 kills, Leielle Salinger 11 and Morgan Pease 10; Jasmine Ford added six.
Annie Salinger distributed 38 assists and fired two aces; sister Leielle also had a pair of aces.
On defense, Gredina DeGuzman collected 23 digs, Pease 18, the Salingers 15 each and Parks 10.
Parks and Ford had three blocks.
