NAS Whidbey hosting youth pheasant hunt

Naval Air Station Whidbey Island is hosting a special pheasant hunt for youngsters under the age of 16 with a hunter’s license 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Sept. 21 and 22 at the base’s upper game range.

The range is located on Crescent Harbor Road just east of the Taylor Road intersection.

A limited number of experienced mentor hunters will be available to accompany youths who do not have an adult (18 or older) to accompany them.
