Mavericks put away Wildcats / Softball

Meadowdale used a six-run fourth inning to pull away from the Oak Harbor High School softball team in a 10-0 win in five innings at Lynnwood High School Friday, April 21.

The Mavericks (9-2, 10-3) scored three runs in the third inning to go up 4-0 and then used three hits, two walks and two errors to tally the six fourth-inning runs.

The Oak Harbor offense couldn’t keep up, collecting only two hits — singles by Audrey Howard and Shea Davis — and striking out 11 times.

The Wildcats (1-10, 1-12) go to Meridian Park in Shoreline at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, to face Shorewood (0-10, 0-12) in their next Wesco game.
