M-P uses big second half to beat Wildcats / Soccer

Marysville-Pilchuck used a big second half to stop the visiting Oak Harbor High School soccer team 5-1 Thursday, Oct. 19.

The Tomahawks (6-5, 6-7-1) led 1-0 at halftime and then exploded for four goals after the break.

Caylie Etherington scored in the second half for the Wildcats.

“Not much good to say except girls didn’t quit,” coach Mike Lonborg said.

Oak Harbor (1-10, 2-13) finishes the season at home with Mountlake Terrace (1-8-2, 2-10-2) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24.
