M-P topples Oak Harbor / Wrestling

The Marysville-Pilchuck High School wrestling team won its third straight match, handing Oak Harbor its fourth consecutive loss 51-24 Thursday, Dec. 14, at M-P.

Oak Harbor, now 1-4 this season, will head to Bellingham for the Graham Morin Invitation at Squalicum High School at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16.

Two Wildcats won by falls at Marysville-Pilchuck, Aaron Fletcher (182 pounds) at the 2:58 mark and Michael Fisken (220) at 1:24.

Blake McBride (145) won 10-4, and Caleb Fitzgerald (126) was an 11-4 winner.

Jamal Graham (106) won by forfeit.

Dropping matches were Chase Ogden (113; fall, 1:51), Jakob Dailey (120; 7-5), Giovanni Ribay (132; fall, 2:16), Dylan Sanchez (138; fall, 2:22), Chris Brooks (152; fall, :44), Ethan Pace (170; fall, 1:50) and Nathaniel Nunez (285; fall, :45).

Oak Harbor forfeited at 160 and 195.
