Lynnwood tops Oak Harbor 3-1 / Soccer

The Oak Harbor High School soccer team dropped a conference match 3-1 at Lynnwood Thursday, Sept. 21.

The Royals improved to 3-1 (5-1) with the win; Oak Harbor fell to 0-4 (0-7).

Caylie Etherington tallied the Wildcats’ goal with “a pure hustle play,” according to coach Mike Lonborg.

Oak Harbor struggled with passing and ball control in the match, Lonborg added.

The Wildcats host South Whidbey (2-4-1) in a non-league match at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23.
