Kelley helps team win tournament / Soccer

Whidbey Island’s Matt Kelley helped the Northwest United Premier Boys FC-3 soccer team win the Crossfire College Showcase yesterday in Redmond.

Kelley registered an assist in the championship match as Northwest United defeated the Surf 3-0 Monday, July 17. He also had a goal earlier in the tournament, as Northwest United posted a 4-0-1 record in the event.

Northwest United also won the Firecracker tournament in Burlington earlier this month with a 4-0 record.

NWU now heads to San Diego July 28 to compete in the Surf West Coast College Showcase.
