Jamboree by the Sea comes to Oak Harbor April 6

The Deception Pass Sail and Power Squadron and the Oak Harbor Yacht Club are sponsoring Jamboree by the Sea from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Catalina Park at the Oak Harbor Marina.

There will be free fun for the kids, as well as food, equipment demonstrations and an opportunity to connect with locals about boating and water skills.

A marine swap meet and free shrimping seminar will be held in conjunction with the jamboree.

The swap meet will take place across the street from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The shrimping seminar is set for 1-3 p.m. at the Oak Harbor Yacht Club.

The seminar will cover the who, what, where, when, why and how of shrimping.
