High school cheer team holds youth clinic

The Oak Harbor High School cheer team is hosting a youth cheerleading clinic at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at the OHHS gymnasium.

The clinic is for boys and girls from kindergarten through the eighth grade and costs $20.

Registration will take place from 12:30-1 p.m. the day of the clinic.

Participants will learn basic cheerleading skills, including motions, jumps, a cheer, a dance and more.

Participants will also be invited to join the high school cheer squad during their halftime performance at the Friday, Oct. 13, football game.
