GNAC honors Streubel / College football

Coupeville High School graduate Nick Streubel, an offensive lineman for Central Washington University, received a pair of postseason honors last week.

Streubel, the Wildcats’s starting center this season, was selected as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference’s Offensive Lineman of the Year.

He was also named to the all-league first team for the third consecutive season.

Streubel helped Central tie for first in the GNAC with a 5-1 mark, 7-4 overall. The Wildcats led the conference in offense, averaging more than 500 yards per game.
