Eagles keep league lead with win over Oak Harbor / Baseball

The Arlington High School baseball team remained in first place of the Wesco North with a 10-0 win in six innings over visiting Oak Harbor Monday, April 9.

The Eagles (9-0, 9-1) scored four runs over the first three innings to scoot to an early lead and then put the game away with a five-run sixth.

Arlington pitcher Jacob Burkett pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts and no walks.

Taylor Rummel, Aaron Martinez, Donnie Kloewer and Thomas Anderson collected the Oak Harbor hits.

Oak Harbor (0-9, 0-10) plays at Stanwood (5-3, 6-4) at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 10. The two meets meet in Oak Harbor on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
