Dean signs to play for Edmonds / Volleyball

Oak Harbor High School senior Ceirra Dean signed a letter of intent Friday, May 17, to play volleyball for Edmonds Community College.

Dean chose Edmonds over Pierce Community College because she preferred the Tritons’ athletes and coaching style.

Edmonds offered Dean a scholarship after observing an open gym session three months ago; Dean accepted two days later.

Dean earned second-team, all-Wesco honors as a libero last fall after receiving honorable mention honors as a junior.

She is the daughter of Charles and Tami Dean, has a 3.8 grade point average and plans to study nursing.
