M-P surprises Oak Harbor with visit, trophy | Football

Marysville-Pilchuck returned the favor. The Tomahawk football team made a surprise visit to Oak Harbor High School's practice Wednesday, presenting the Wildcats with the Wesco 3A North championship trophy and a pizza dinner.

'Cats top 1st-place T-birds; head to district | Volleyball

The surprise wasn't so much that the Oak Harbor High School volleyball team defeated first-place Shorewood on the Thunderbirds' floor Wednesday, Oct. 29, but that the Wildcats did it with a 3-0 shutout.

Even if Coupeville High School wins its 5 p.m. home soccer match with Port Townsend tonight (Thursday, Oct. 30), it will not get to host a first-round match in the district tournament, according to coach Troy Cowan.
