Central Whidbey will be well represented at the Little League Junior Division state tournaments this weekend.

The Central Whidbey boys face Redmond at noon Saturday, July 17, at Medical Lake High School (outside of Spokane).

If they win, they will challenge West Seattle at noon Sunday. If they lose, they play at 3 p.m. Monday.

A team combined of Central and South Whidbey girls travel to Vancouver's David Douglas Park for the softball tournament. The local squad plays Stilly Valley (Arlington/Stanwood area) at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 17. If they win, they will play at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. A loss will put them in a 1:30 p.m. game Sunday.
