Jesse Pierce bowled a 300 game and an 843 series in the Wednesday Night league at Oak Bowl last week.

Since Pierce has rolled four other 300 games in league before, he was more excited about his 843 series and his string of 30 straight strikes. He said, "800 is hard to do."

His streak of strikes began in the sixth frame of the first game and ended in the 10th in the third. He bowled games of 254, 300 and 289.

Pierce, who bowls for the 12th Men, said he will receive a rings from the United States Bowling Congress for his game and series.

He carries a 225 league average and estimates he has also rolled about 15 perfect games "messing around."
