Golf: Ford finishes 19th in state tournament

Judd Ford fired a 74 in the final round of the state 4A golf tournament at Canyon Lake in Kennewick today, May 26, to catapult himself to 19th place.
The Oak Harbor junior shot a 78 in the first round Tuesday, good for 30th out of 80 golfers. His four-shot improvement in the second round gave him a two-day total of 152 and pushed him up 11 spots in the standings.
This was Ford’s third-straight trip to state and best finish.
