Oak Harbor splits double header in season Legion AA opener

The Oak Harbor American Legion AA baseball team opened its season by splitting a double header with Wilder Baseball of Port Angeles Sunday, May 23.
Wilder took the first contest 11-6; Oak Harbor nabbed the second 12-8.
Yale Rosen led Oak Harbor by going 4-for-8 with four RBI in the twin set. Ryan Byrne was 3-for-6 with two doubles, two runs and three RBI; Sam Wolfe was 3-for-6 with two doubles and five runs; Gabe Clark was 3-for-6 with a double, three runs and an RBI; and Justin Counts was 3-for-7 with two runs and RBI.
Oak Harbor hosts Bellingham Tuesday, May 25, and Burlington Tuesday, June 1, at 6 p.m.
