Baseball: Five Wolves selected for feeder game

Five Coupeville baseball players have been selected to play in the B/1A state feeder game at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham Saturday, June 5, at 10 a.m.

J.D. Wilcox, Erik King, Chad Brookhouse, Kevin Eaton and Chase Griffin will represent the Wolves in the game which will feature the top B and 1A seniors from Districts 1 and 2.

After the two eight-inning games, a list of players will be nominated for the all-state games later this summer. Three to seven of the nominations will be selected.
