Tennis: Four Wildcats qualify for district

Oak Harbor picked up a second, third and fourth place at the Wesco North divisional tennis tournament last week at Arlington.
In the finals Friday, May 14, the doubles team of Laurin Rico and Clarissa Abadesco, the third seed, finished second, losing in the finals 6-4, 6-4 to Julie Winston and Brielle Nicholas of Snohomish.
Two Wildcats faced each other in the match for third and fourth places. No. 5 seed Erin Neilon defeated teammate Cady O'Dell, the No. 3 seed, 6-1, 6-0. During the regular season, O'Dell played first singles for Oak Harbor and Neilon second singles.
All four Oak Harbor players move on to the district tournament Wednesday and Thursday, May 19 and 20, at Jackson High School.
