The Whidbey Golf and Country Golf is gearing up for its biggest event of the year, the Men's Invitational May 28, 29 and 30.

Oak Harbor's Eric McCardle is expected to return to defend his title. His former high-school teammate Phil Reedy should be one of the top challengers, according to WG&CC pro Dave Phay.

The tournament will have three handicap divisions and a senior division.

May 28 will feature a complimentary practice round and optional horse race.

May 29 will have the first round as well as long-drive, chipping and break-the-glass contests.

May 30 the leading foursome will tee-off last in the final round.
