Track: Wolves compete at South Whidbey

Hunter Hammer led the Coupeville boys and Jai'lysa Hoskins the girls in a five-team track meet at South Whidbey Thursday, May 6.
In the boys meet, Archbishop Murphy won with 120 points, followed by Sultan 82, South Whidbey 55, Coupeville 53 and Granite Falls 37.
In the girls meet, ATM also won with 141. South Whidbey had 117, Sultan 52, Granite Falls 47 and Coupeville nine.
Hammer won the shot put (46-08.75) and was third in the discus (123-05).
Hoskins placed fifth in the 100 (13.96), sixth in the 200 (28.36) and seventh in the high jump (4-02). She finished third in the 4x200 relay with Anna Bailey, Hannah Christensen and Nicole Becker (2:04.37).
The Wolves girls were also third in the 4x100 relay (Bailey, Becker, Christensen, Arianna Pozzatti, 61.24).
Will Hoskins finished second in the high jump (5-06); triple jump (37); 4x100 relay with Davion Watkins, Garret Franzen and David Donley (49.81); and 4x400 relay with Tyler King, Mitch Pelroy and Chase Bates (3:40.76).
Pelroy was also fourth in the 100 (12.05), fifth in the 200 (24.78) and second in the long jump (18-01).
King (53.18) and Bates (54.9) went 2-4 in the 400.
