Boys golf: Oak Harbor fifth at Everett Invitational

The Wildcat boys golf team finished fifth out of eight teams at the Everett Invitational at the Legion Golf Course Thursday, April 29.

Jackson won the event with a stroke total of 378; Oak Harbor carded a 430.

Judd Ford shot a 78 for the ‘Cats, good for 12th in the individual standings. Jackson’s Conner Miele topped the field with a 73.

Greg Martin followed Ford for Oak Harbor with an 84. Matt Fikse shot 86, Austin Fields 88 and Jim Nguyen 94.

The Wildcats finish the Wesco regular season with Lake Stevens and host Marysville-Pilchuck at Cedarcrest Golf Course next Wednesday, May 5.
