Tennis: M-P edges Oak Harbor 4-3

The Marysville-Pilchuck girls tennis team nipped host Oak Harbor 4-3 Wednesday, April 28.
The loss dropped the Wildcats' record to 5-8; five of the losses have been by one point.
Marysville-Pilchuck (5-7) captured No. 1 singles and all three doubles matches.
Oak Harbor's Cady O'Dell dropped the first singles match 2-6, 4-6.
Erin Neilon won second singles 6-2, 6-3; Laurin Rico took third singles 6-0, 6-2; and Clarissa Abadesco won both sets 6-1 in third singles.
Jordan Faralan and Kerry Rathsanbanhdith fell in first doubles 2-6, 4-6.
Jennifer Bowers and Jennifer Fremd lost 4-6, 6-3, 2-6 in second doubles.
In third doubles, Alexa Holmly and Shannon Neilon were beaten 2-6, 6-4, 1-6.
The 'Cats go to Everett (7-3) Friday, April 30, and host Cascade (3-8) Tuesday, May 4, at 3:45 p.m.
