Boys golf: Wildcats win

After three straight second-place finishes, the Oak Harbor boys golf team picked up a win in its three-team match Thursday, April 22.

The Wildcats defeated Stanwood and Everett 419-426-459 at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club.

Oak Harbor's Judd Ford won medalist honors by 11 strokes by shooting a one-under 71.

Matt Fikse was next for Oak Harbor with an 85, two shots ahead of Austin Fields. Dan Klope and Jim Nguyen had 88s.

Cascade and Monroe visit Oak Harbor Tuesday, April 27, at 3 p.m.
