Six Flyers trampoline team places in Mad Hatter Invitational

Six members of the Moving & Grooving Island Flyer tumbling and trampoline team placed at the Mad Hatter's T&T Invitational in Maple Valley Sunday, April 18.

Awards were given to the top three finishers in each level regardless of age or gender.

Hailee Blau snared three medals in level 4, winning trampoline, taking second on double mini and finishing third in tumbling.

Lauren Asprey earned two medals, placing second in level 4 tumbling and third in level 6 double mini.

Other event medalists: Lilly Hammitt, second, level 4 trampoline; Amaya Rittierodt, second level 6 double mini; Ameilia Berner, second, level 6 trampoline; and Kelly Gruenwald, third, level 5 double mini.

The team will march in the Holland Happening Parade Saturday, April 24, and perform on the entertainment stage at 12:45 p.m.

The Flyers next meet will be the Washington State T&T Championships in Renton May 1.
