The short-handed Oak Harbor High School boys soccer team dropped a 9-0 match at Marysville-Pilchuck Tuesday, March 23.
In spite of the score, coach Brian Thompson said goal keeper Tucker Lundstrom "had a great game, recording 11 saves."
The Tomahawks' Brady Bellow scored four goals, while the Wildcats did not help their own cause by giving up two own goals.
Thompson said, "We are still dealing with injury issues, but we hope to have everyone back in a week. We started four freshmen and a sophomore who all did well against the veteran squad at Marysville."
Marysville is 2-1 and Oak Harbor 0-4. The Wildcats play Cascade (1-3) at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 29, at Wildcat Memorial Stadium.
