Oak Harbor cheerleaders head to national competition

The Oak Harbor High School Wildcat cheerleaders are headed to USA Nationals in Anaheim Thursday, March 25.

They are scheduled to compete in the Co-Ed Intermediate Division on Saturday, March 27, with their sights on making it to finals the next day.

Coach Robin Gohn said, "Through a lot of hard work, injuries and other obstacles, the Wildcats are putting in long hours of practice time and are determined that will power, dedication, commitment and spirit will help them achieve their goal of competing in the finals."

The Wildcat competition cheer team members are Elizabeth Adkins, Kylene Ayer, Jade Brown, Chylah Bass, Loren Davis, Desiree Dillaman, Adam Goforth, Josh Higbee, Emily Hoyt, Jember Jansen, Joeshua Johnson, Colby Lock, Bri Petersen, Meghan Rikard, Josh Sayre, Bri Sokoloski, Sadie Strain, Courtney Tuttle, TracyAnne Vessels, Omani Welch, Jillian White, Rebecca White.
