Five Flyers win at Mount Vernon Three-Ring Circus meet

Five Moving & Grooving Island Flyers placed first in their divisions at the Three-Ring Circus meet at Mount Vernon Saturday, March 13.

Winners included McKenzie Meyer in level 4 tumbling and level 5 double mini, Amelia Berner in level 6 trampoline and level 7 double mini, Lilly Hammitt in level 4 trampoline, Hailee Blau in level 4 trampoline and Juliet Aspery in level 5 trampoline.

Flyers earning seconds were Blau, Lauren Bayne, Kelly Gruenwald, Amaya Rittierodt and Lauren Aspery.

Thirds went to Hammitt, Berner, Juliet Aspery, Gruenwald and Rittierodt.

With their efforts at Mount Vernon, all the Flyers have qualified for the state meet May 1.

The Flyers compete at Kirkland next Sunday, March 21.
