Stanwood blanks Oak Harbor in volleyball

The Oak Harbor volleyball team was blanked 3-0 at Stanwood Monday.
The loss dropped the Wildcats' league record to 1-3 (3-6 for the year) and a half game behind the Spartans and Snohomish for the fifth and final playoff spot with four matches left.
Stanwood won 25-19, 25-16, 25-15. Coach Kerri Molitor said the first game was close, but "it went downhill after that." She added, "The second and third games had a very different feel to them."
Kelsey Terrazas-Cooley had 17 digs and four aces. Katelyn Bristow had 17 digs and Janessa Ramos five kills.
