Wildcats dominate singles but lose tennis match

The Oak Harbor High School boys' tennis team dominated the singles matches but that wasn't enough as the Wildcats fell 4-3 at Marysville-Pilchuck Friday.
Oak Harbor took the first three singles matches. Derek Thomas won 6-2, 6-1; Josh Evans won 6-2, 6-2; and Ben Cardinal won 7-5, 6-2.
The Wildcats dropped the fourth singles match and all three doubles matches.
Oak Harbor is now 2-12 and plays at Cascade Wednesday and here against Snohomish on Friday at 3:45. Marysville is 7-6.
