Undefeated Everett tops Wildcats in tennis

Everett tops OH in tennis
Everett's boys' tennis team remained undefeated by beating host Oak Harbor 6-1 Wednesday.
Ben Cardinal posted the Wildcats' only point by taking third singles 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.
Derek Thomas fell in first singles 1-6, 1-6 and Josh Evans lost in second singles 2-6, 0-6. Max O'Dell lost 1-6, 1-6 in third singles.
The Wildcats' No. 1 doubles duo of David DeGuzman and Brandon Vagt were beaten 4-6, 2-6. In second doubles, Chse Edwards and Geoff Worley lost 5-7, 1-6. Kevin Gagon and Chris Holbrook dropped the third doubles match 1-6, 0-6.
First place Everett is now 12-0, Oak Harbor 2-11.
The Wildcats go to Cascade next Wednesday, then entertain Snohomish Friday, Oct. 16, at 3:45.
