Summer tennis camps at OHHS

Oak Harbor High School tennis coach Horace Mells will be conducting a tennis camps for young players and adults at the high school courts beginning June 22 and continuing through Aug. 21.
The youth camp is open to players ages three and older.
There will be six classes offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from June 22 through July 31 at a cost of $45 per player, $75 for a family of two and $100 for a family of three. For more than three family members, add $20 per person.
Beginners will be scheduled for morning classes with intermediate and advanced players’ classes scheduled for afternoon sessions.
Each class will be an hour in length beginning at 9:15 a.m. and continuing until 4:30 p.m.
Attendees need to bring their tennis rackets and tennis shoes.
The adult camp will be in the evenings from June 23 to July 30.
Beginners will play from 6 to 7 p.m., and intermediate and advanced students will play from 7 to 8 p.m.
The fee to participate is $45 per player.
Mells is also offering individual and group lessons.
Applications are posted at the main entrance to the OHHS tennis courts and the middle and high school offices.
